INEC IMPLEMENTS NEW METER READING SCHEDULE

The Ilocos Norte Electric Cooperative, Inc. (INEC) has implemented new schedule for meter reading starting January 8, 2020. Meter reading shall be done within the month except Saturdays and Sundays. Meter reading was conducted in the past every third to fourth week of every month. INEC General Manager Engr. Felino Herbert P. Agdigos said that the change of meter reading scheduling was due to the increasing number of Member-Consumer-Owners (MCOs) wherein meter readers could not visit all in just two weeks as earlier scheduled. With the new scheme, Agdigos believed that this would also reduce the influx of MCOs in all INEC offices during the payment of electric bills especially on due dates.
