30 LINEMEN CERTIFIED BY TESDA
Thirty (30) linemen from the Ilocos Norte Electric Cooperative (INEC), through the cooperation of Ilocos Sur Electric Cooperative Assessment Center (IAC) and the Technical Education & Skills Development Authority (TESDA) were assessed and certified for the Heavy Equipment Operation (HEO) – Truck Operated Crane-NC II.
The 3-day assessment started last November 11, 2020 and was concluded on the 13th. It was composed of a written, practical/demo & oral examination and was conducted by Engr. Dante G. Bernardino, Competency Skills Assessor of IAC and overseen by Mr. Roderick P. Rioga, Representative from TESDA. All 30 linemen passed and were given the NC II certification.
The assessment and certification is in compliance to the Safety Program of the cooperative and in the competency upgrading of its workforce.
