INEC@50 LOGO MAKING CONTEST WINNER
Mr. John Mark. Trinidad was adjudged as the grand winner of the recently concluded INEC@50 Logo Making Contest. Mr. Trinidad resides in Brgy. Caraitan, Badoc and is a Grade 12 teacher at Juan Luna Memorial Academy in Badoc. He is given his cash prize of Php. 15,000. His masterpiece was the chosen winner among the 90 entries. LOGO DESCRIPTION
“For 50 wonderful years, INEC had continuously provided sufficient electric energy throughout the vicinities of Ilocos Norte. Through the years, INEC had extended and expanded its services to make sure electricity reaches every Ilocano home. As seen in the logo, the light bulb wearing a hard hat represents INEC’s vision of rural electrification as a means of progress and development in the province. The red ribbon and the golden laurel leaves represents the excellent service provided by INEC to bring families closer together. The hands linking the plug and socket symbolizes INEC’s efforts to make sure every Ilocano home is electrified.”
