10 MVA SUBSTATION SOON TO RISE IN BADOC

To improve power quality of our distribution system in the south, the Ilocos Norte Electric Cooperative (INEC) will install a 10 Mega Volt Ampere substation in the municipality of Badoc.

INEC general manager Felino Herbert P. Agdigos announced that the proposed project will be situated at Barangay Napu, Badoc, Ilocos Norte.  The completion of the said undertaking is targeted to be finished in December, 2020.

On August 2, a public hearing was conducted in the presence of Badoc Mayor Maximo Cajigal, municipal officials, Barangay Officials and INEC officials as well.  During the hearing, Agdigos discussed the advantages of having the substation in the area.

Mayor Cajigal expressed his thanks and gratitude with the INEC officials believing that the proposed project will not only improve the lives of the MCOs in the southern part of the province but will also contribute to the development of the whole municipality of Badoc and Pinili.
