LINE CLEARING FOR RELIABILITY AND SAFETY
The Ilocos Norte Electric Cooperative, Inc. joins the 3rd National Line Clearing Day on July 31, 2020, highlighting the importance of environmental care and line safety of its Member-Consumer-Owners (MCOs).
Line clearing has been the practice of the cooperative to control trees growth on primary and secondary power lines at an early stage so as not to interfere with the electrical services. Hence, our provincemate are always advised not to plant trees below the distribution system. Simultaneous clearing activities were conducted in all area offices: Area 1 at Brgy. Suyo, Dingras; Area 2 at Brgy. San Isidro, Pasuquin; Area 3 at Brgys. Dariwdiw & Baligat, Batac City; Area 4 at Brgy. Masikil, Bangui; Area 5 at Brgys. Manarang & Alsem Vintar and; Area 6 at Brgys. Suba & Nagbacalan, Paoay.
The cooperative believes that the said activity will ensure a safer and more reliable electric service to our MCOs.
